mirror lake & lake placid

I feel so blessed to have grown up in the midst of the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York. We still visit every summer, and always make the trek in late August to the Can-Am Rugby tournament in Lake Placid and Saranac Lake (bit of trivia – I went into early labor with Aidan at 36 weeks during said tournament in 1999).

This year I brought my camera equipment to capture some of the beautiful sights. This is downtown Lake Placid, as seen across Mirror Lake.
