Yes, that’s the heel of my hand – her head was only about that big. And now she’s 6 years old – sassy, loving, independent, excited about starting Kindergarten on Tuesday (even though I might not be ready quite yet). iphone…  For those following my gardening adventure this year – if you recall, we started back in May with much promise! A beautiful raised bed, gorgeous plants, full sun. Only one month later, it looked like this. Abundant growing! July was just crazy with baseball and travels, so no update – but trust me, you could…  As part of my minimalist journey, I’m not only purging, I’m trying (trying!) to recycle things I already have (as opposed to buying new – what a concept!). So I have a set of Pottery Barn baskets – one desk organizer and two magazine holders. Unfortunately, my style is a bit rustic, and the light…  This was our garden one month ago today – just after planting: And here it is today: Gardening in the North – where the sun is hot but soft, the nights are cool and the rain is plentiful?
