Sweet little Alexandra was my last newborn of 2008 <sniff>. But what a perfect way to end the year! Since she’s my last sweet baby, this is an extra-special long sneak peek.

Etta & Sam | A Sneak Peek | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

Sweet little Etta. She was one of my older newborns, and I always let mom know that once baby is over a week or so, we might not get those curled up newborn shots.

Well. Etta must have overheard me and thought to herself “Harumph! I’ll show HER!”

I also told mom that my 2 week olds sometimes don’t want to sleep. Hmmm…..

After proving me very, very wrong, I got to meet Miss Etta’s big brother. Who - seriously - needs to work that personality into a fabulous career someday. I could have chatted with Mr. Sam all day.

Are you having an Atlanta Newborn in January or February 2009?

Now is the time to book your session!

I know it’s posted on my website, but it bears repeating: The absolute best (best best!) time to photograph a newborn is in the first 6-10 days.

After they’re two weeks old, babies discover they can stretch their arms and legs, baby acne kicks in, and the dreaded colic can strike (you have my permission to plug your ears and go lalalalala! at the mention of colic).

SO - if you are having a baby in the Atlanta Area in January or February (or even March or April) and would like a newborn session, contact me asap. We’ll get you all booked, then you can forget about me until baby arrives. Then call me and we pick a day and time for your session. Easy as that!

Welcoming Matthew | A Sneak Peek | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

Isabel is another of my very patient moms waiting for her sneak peek, so instead of going on and on about how adorable her boys are, I’ll cut the chatter and get right to it!

Meet Matthew, the newest member of this beautiful family…
