Thomas | A Sneak Peek

I first photographed little Thomas as a newborn. It’s so much fun for me to get to see how my little bugs grow and change…

All the Atlanta folks: Remember that frigid cold spell we had early last week? Yeah, well I think we had Thomas’ session on the COLDEST day of the year so far. I mean C-O-L-D. Teeth-chattering, wind blowing, red noses, you name it. Running to the warm car between outfits cold. COLD.

Sorry – I’m older now, I repeat myself a lot. Actually, I’ve ALWAYS repeated myself a lot. Oh, there I go again.

Anyhoodle – you NEVER would know it to look at Thomas.

While we were all fussing over him, worrying about him being cold, he just hung out like it was any old day. Nary a fuss to be found.

Christmas card, anyone?

I couldn’t resist a little vintage-y look for this one…

Hee – I love this hat.

Kari and John – thank you for another wonderful session. And for braving the cold!!

Hannah and Jack | A Sneak Peek

My clients are being *sooo* patient with me – October is my busiest month and I’m running a few days behind on sneak peeks. I’m sorry!!

I’ll start right in with Mr. Jack. Who gives a whooooole new meaning to the word ‘adorable.’ The little hat with ears? BEYOND cute.

And here is beautiful big sister Hannah, rocking not one but TWO of the season’s biggest fashions…

Some love from mom…

The whole wonderful family…

And we’ll wrap up with Mr. Jack again. Those cheeks!! He reminds me so much of Aidan – I think I said that about 100 times during our session. Vanessa, don’t bend over sideways for newspapers in your driveway, take it from me. Been there, done that! ;)

Vanessa, T.J., Jack and Hannah: Thank you again for another fantabulous session!

Elizabeth Ann at 7 Months: A Sneak Peek

Anyone remember this little sweetie from last Spring?

Well look at her now!

I tell ya – these babies of mine! I tell them not to grow up, but they just don’t listen to me! Harumph. Actually, you think I’d be used to it since neither of mine listen to a word I say.

Sigh…just LOOK at the eyelashes on this darling!

Love, love, love this series with mommy. She’s looking over at her daddy in both of these…

How perfect is this dress with the fall leaves? Does it come in 4T???

Chris and Betts, thank you for yet another wonderful session! I hope miss Elizabeth Ann is feeling better!

Arman at 1 Month: A Sneak Peek

Little Arman wins the award for the most gorgeous newborn hair EVER!

He was also quite fascinated with me. It must have been my witty banter! ;) Isn’t he just the most adorable little fella? Those eyes!

Seriously cute. And did he sleep? But of course!

Favorite? But of course!

Here he is with his wonderful dad and mama…

And this was fun – dad asked if we could pose him on their piano. And you all KNOW how I love incorporating things into the shots. Arman was a total sport, although I swear he’s looking at us like “Ummm…what am I doing here??”

To wrap things up, here’s a shot of the whole sweet family…

I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek: I’ll be in touch very soon with the rest of your session!

Dylan at 6 Weeks: A Sneak Peek

I think one of the toughest parts of my job is picking the images for the sneak peek. I try to only pick a few, but I just can’t. So here we go again!!

Little Dylan here finally put one of my long-held ideals to rest: Shooting newborns in the first two weeks. I mean, it’s perfect when I can, but it’s not 100% necessary. I did warn mom that since little Dylan was older (isn’t it funny to call a 6 week old “older?”) that he might not sleep – so we’d go for fun shots typical of a 3 month old.

Then I got there…met this adorable little chunk of a guy…turned on my sound machine…and….zzzzzzz

He even gave me a little smile. All together now: “Awww……”

Hey there, bright eyes…

Those of you who’ve had sessions with me know I have a bit of a thing for chunky knuckle dimples…Likely because of my 100 pound 9 year old who is due home from school any minute…but I digress!

Favorite? Oh yeah…

With his beautiful mama…

And very fun dad…

And then we ran outside for some family & creative shots. We did use the bowl – but then we pulled out the bench I’d just bought for siblings. Dylan was *so* content and happy, we decided to give it a go!

What a sweet, happy little guy! Katherine and Ken, thank you *so* much for letting me photograph your sweet boy – and for being so willing to try out my new prop! I hope you’re happy with your sneak peek, and I’ll be in touch very soon with the rest of your session!
