Elizabeth Ann at 7 Months: A Sneak Peek

Anyone remember this little sweetie from last Spring?

Well look at her now!

I tell ya - these babies of mine! I tell them not to grow up, but they just don’t listen to me! Harumph. Actually, you think I’d be used to it since neither of mine listen to a word I say.

Sigh…just LOOK at the eyelashes on this darling!

Love, love, love this series with mommy. She’s looking over at her daddy in both of these…

How perfect is this dress with the fall leaves? Does it come in 4T???

Chris and Betts, thank you for yet another wonderful session! I hope miss Elizabeth Ann is feeling better!

Arman at 1 Month: A Sneak Peek

Little Arman wins the award for the most gorgeous newborn hair EVER!

He was also quite fascinated with me. It must have been my witty banter! ;) Isn’t he just the most adorable little fella? Those eyes!

Seriously cute. And did he sleep? But of course!

Favorite? But of course!

Here he is with his wonderful dad and mama…

And this was fun - dad asked if we could pose him on their piano. And you all KNOW how I love incorporating things into the shots. Arman was a total sport, although I swear he’s looking at us like “Ummm…what am I doing here??”

To wrap things up, here’s a shot of the whole sweet family…

I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek: I’ll be in touch very soon with the rest of your session!

Dylan at 6 Weeks: A Sneak Peek

I think one of the toughest parts of my job is picking the images for the sneak peek. I try to only pick a few, but I just can’t. So here we go again!!

Little Dylan here finally put one of my long-held ideals to rest: Shooting newborns in the first two weeks. I mean, it’s perfect when I can, but it’s not 100% necessary. I did warn mom that since little Dylan was older (isn’t it funny to call a 6 week old “older?”) that he might not sleep - so we’d go for fun shots typical of a 3 month old.

Then I got there…met this adorable little chunk of a guy…turned on my sound machine…and….zzzzzzz

He even gave me a little smile. All together now: “Awww……”

Hey there, bright eyes…

Those of you who’ve had sessions with me know I have a bit of a thing for chunky knuckle dimples…Likely because of my 100 pound 9 year old who is due home from school any minute…but I digress!

Favorite? Oh yeah…

With his beautiful mama…

And very fun dad…

And then we ran outside for some family & creative shots. We did use the bowl - but then we pulled out the bench I’d just bought for siblings. Dylan was *so* content and happy, we decided to give it a go!

What a sweet, happy little guy! Katherine and Ken, thank you *so* much for letting me photograph your sweet boy - and for being so willing to try out my new prop! I hope you’re happy with your sneak peek, and I’ll be in touch very soon with the rest of your session!

a fresh look…

Well, ye old website splash needed a little updating. And I’m greedy and wanted to show more pictures of my amazing clients! My goal is to update the image section pretty frequently. More frequently than I’ve kept up with my website, which is <ahem> sorely out of date.

My wonderful friend - and fellow photographer - Traci Turchin of Real Photography helped me immensely. I’d had the bones of it ready for quite some time, I just needed a little push with the actual execution. If you love great photography, check out Traci and Nic’s work. And if you like to laugh, make sure you check out their blog: Real Photography Blog.

If you want to see the new splash page, click on the website link above.

Let’s see, what else…

• Session Availability:

The August 30th session is no longer available. I’ll be spending that time with a sweet 6 month old named Noah.

I have a few dates left in September.

October is just about full.

November is pretty much full except for newborns, who I will always squeeze in!

• Two Words (letters?):

I have discovered the magic words when you have an almost-3 year old willful little sprite who will do #1 in the potty without fail…but doesn’t want to do #2: M & M. ‘Nuff said.

• Geek Squad:

Aidan has his baseball tryouts this weekend, but if that isn’t enough, I’ve also let him sign up for Chess Club and the Lego Robotics Club this year. Hey, geeks finish first, right? ;)

And since every post needs a picture…I’m very excited to add these Polaroid Transfer images to my product offerings. Just for something fun and different!

Another sneak peek is coming up VERY soon!
