So today I went to the gym (per usual), and decided to try a class I hadn’t taken before – I usually just do cardio on Wednesday, but it’s good to mix things up, right?
I walk into the Body Vive class, to find it had been swapped with a Zumba Fitness class. Which is Latin dance. And it was 10:00 a.m., not 1:00 a.m. after several a couple drinks. I have stuff to shake, I just don’t shake it well at 10:00 a.m.
Anyway. I stayed. And it kicked my butt. Dang! Who knew dancing was such a good workout? I guess that’s why I was so skinny in my 20s eh? Hmmm…might be something to that.
It did include other things – like the twist. Twisting I can do. Any time, any place. Taught well (by my mom), I daresay I would categorize myself as a champion twister.
And now we’re moving into TMI territory, so I’ll stop talking.

In other news, I’m annoyed with Sprint. My cellphone (as several of my clients can attest) has been echoing back to me. There is NOTHING more annoying than talking to a nice person and suddenly all I can hear is myself. Not fun. I stopped into a Sprint store today and they told me it’s the phone and I need to take it to the “Tech Store.” Oh joy. That iPhone is looking seriously nice right now.

And in yet more news, Ava has picked up a nasty little habit. When she doesn’t get her way? She stomps her foot and spits at you. Oh yes. Isn’t that swell? NO clue where she got it. So now we have the fun task of ‘nipping it in the bud.’ Joy.
