Photographers are always on the lookout for beautiful things – and ever since we planted the maple tree in our front yard a couple of years ago, I’ve loved watching the first leaf buds erupt – they’re just so fragile and small and lovely. And they only stay that way for about a week.
Yesterday afternoon, I went outside with my 100mm 2.8 macro to photograph them. This 10×20 collage (in a coffee frame) will soon hang on the wall in the kids’ bathroom that Vic is remodeling (pics of that coming soon). It makes me happy.![]()
