So did you watch it last night?

(anyone with a child between the ages of oh….6 and oh….15 or so will know exactly what I’m talking about)

What did you think?

Bad acting? Yes.

Treacle? Yes.

Did I shed a tear? Yes (please, are you surprised?).

Did I do the math in my head and realize those kids could easily be MY kids? Yes (and then quickly stomped that thought outta my head).

Did I have several 80s flashbacks because of Joe’s outfits? Oh yes.

Did I covet Demi Lovato’s hair for 2 hours? Definitely.

Overall it was ok. It wasn’t any Sooner or Later, if you know what I mean. But I enjoyed watching it with Aidan (who somehow knew the words to every song even before the dang thing had aired?).

Amy Nabors - oh yes, i watched it. DS didn’t make it through the whole thing, though. i actually liked it. :)

Dennis - We were there….I thought it was pretty good although I like the Jonas Bros and my kids are so embarrassed because they tell me I’m not supposed to. Disney marketing amazes me on how they develop their your people.

DeAnna - Watched it last night and my 12-year-old, who will probably watch it at least 5 times today! We were blessed to be able to go to Orlando for the week that the Disney Channel Games were being filmed so she got to ‘meet’ all the Camp Rock kids and get autographs and pics. Blessed again when she won a local contest to ‘meet and greet’ Demi at Six Flags St. Louis last Sunday. Demi signed her guitar and she hasn’t stopped playing it!!!

kim - well of course we watched. and we sang along. and we loved it. and my girl has been playing her guitar ever since. now i’m adding sooner or later to my netflix queue to see what you’re talking about. :)

Barb - I didn’t watch, but S sure did! She’s probably seen it four times by now.

Jana - OK, I have NO idea what you all are talking about but sounds like a big event for Aidan! :-)

Lisa W - We were counting down the minutes while watching Jonas Brothers on Hannah Montana! We have been waiting months in our house. It should have been a legal holiday yesterday. I enjoyed it and got chills as Joe said “That’s the girl!” Ha ;)

Lindsay - My 8 year old daughter and I watched. I was not overly enthralled with it but she said she liked it. However we both said we like High School Musical so much more.

Liz McCoy - we soo watched it! We dvr’d it so she’s watched it twice already this weekend.
