Meet sweet baby #3 for Lesley and Chris. I photographed Tyler as a wee babe, so it was an absolute treat to photograph their newest addition to the family!

Sweet little Jack was 3 weeks old when we met. And he was so happy and content and loved…he slept like, well, like a baby!

The one on the right – definitely my favorite. Joy held him, Karin took his head into her hand and he just opened his eyes and looked into the eyes of his loving parents. Huge smiles all around.

Meet sweet Liam, who is very fond of sleeping with his hands up over his head. I think most people think that newborn babies are very much alike – but when you visit with so many of them, you really get to see how completely unique and individual they are, right from the start. Just one of the perks of being a newborn photographer.

Brand new baby’s bottom + brand new baby’s toes = adorable.

Favorite. I know my mom/baby images are so often my favorites, but there’s just something about seeing that connection…gets me every time.

Sweet Andrew was such a wonderful little photography subject. He slept and slept and slept….so peaceful and sweet.

During my newborn sessions, I like to focus on baby’s newness along with perspective: I love to capture images that showcase just how tiny a newborn is. Someday, Andrew’s hand is going to be as big as his daddy’s – and they can look back at this image and remember how he started out so small…
