Frances & Chris • 31 Weeks

Thank goodness for sunny weekends! On Saturday I got to meet the lovely Frances and Chris, who are expecting their first little girlie in July.

Frances has the most infectious smile…and I love this shirt!

You all know I love to get this shot…Chris and I pulled this chair right over in the front doorway so I could get it. Worth it, I’d say – I LOVE the red chair with Frances’ pretty skintone…

The side of their house had this cool gate covered with – something – it smelled REALLY good. Frances and I think maybe honeysuckle? Had to create a little vignette, naturally!

Another thing I love is a good wall or fence. Frances and I wandered over to the neighbor’s fence, got into position, then I looked down and saw the dreaded LEAVES OF THREE!!! And you know the rule: “Leaves of Three, Let them Be!” EEK! And we both had on flip flops. Oops. We tiptoed around (still had to get the shots, right?) and avoided them.

Then Chris joined us and let us know they were NOT poison ivy. PHEW!

Speaking of Chris – these two are SO adorable together. I usually have to <ahem> harrass my poor dads and dads-to-be into some displays of affection (“just remember what got you into this situation in the first place!”). But not these two! I turn around and they’re smooching all on their own – then I had to ask them to do it again.;)

“Smooching” – isn’t that a funny word? My mom used to use that word a lot. Makes me laugh. But I digress!

Lastly…I know you can’t even see the belly in this shot, but it’s my favorite.:)

Frances and Chris, thank you again for such a fun session. I can’t wait to meet your little sweetie!

maya - Oh yeah, that’s honeysuckle. When I was a kid, we’d pick a flower, tear it off at the bottom and pull the stem out. It has kind of a stopper on the end that brings the “honey” out. Tasty!

Bretty B - Hey, these are pretty awesome! Jen and I are super excited for you- you guys did a great job! See you soon!

Frances (the mommy-to-be) - LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THE PICTURES!!!!!! Lisa, you’re the BEST! Thanks so much for your wonderful talent! Can’t wait to see trhe rest of them!

Jen - Gorgeous! You’re so photogenic, Frances. And Chris ain’t bad either. :) Wonderful shots! Love the black and whites.

Mami - Those photos are beautiful. Great job!, Lisa I am so glad my daughter and son in law decided to go with you. Congratulations! Of course, the models have a lot to do, too. I can’t wait to see little Gabriella.

Allison - I ADORE the 2nd one with her in the red chair—wowza girl!

amelia and patti - loved the pictures. still a cute basketball!

amelia and patti - loved the pictures! you are still a tiny basketball!

Jeanie - Chris and Francis your pictures are just beautiful!

I am sure you won’t remember me, but I am Aunt Bunny’s oldest daughter. There is no doubt of the love, affection, excitement and joy that you both share waiting for your new bundle of joy. Plus as a person born in July, it’s a great month to enter this world.

Enjoy every moment, realize through all of the tiredness, morning sickness, mood swings, nervousness, excitement and anxiety, the end result is worth every minute and only the beginning of a great change in your life.

Congratualtions and enjoy!

Asya - Wow Frances, these are sooo nice!!!!! You look so pretty and you and your husband look so happy.
