If you ever wonder why I prefer to photograph newborns when they’re under 10 days, this is why. Meet the adorable miss Sophie Claire, at all of 8 days:
She was content, sleepy, loved to curl up, and even opened her eyes for a little while. Here she is with her beautiful mother, wrapped in a blanket made by her grandmother:
I was fascinated by the way Sophie held her feet – with the bottoms together. It was so cute, I think I spent 10 minutes taking pictures of her toes!
