reagan & thomas | atlanta newborn and children’s photographer

This was my 3rd time photographing sweet little Thomas over the last year or so. How is it possible that he gets cuter every time I see him? I swear, this kid is going to burst the cute-o-meter at some point!

When I spotted that mossy brick corner behind the house I think I clicked my heels with joy – aren’t the colors amazing, the way the red fades into the green? Sigh…We spent quite a bit of time there!

And guess what?  Thomas has a VERY imporant new title:  “Big Brother!” Meet his adorable new little sister Reagan Elizabeth:

in case you missed it…

I know this went viral while we were on vacation, so I’m a little behind…but in case you haven’t seen this, I know you’ll enjoy it:

I just want to get married again so we can do this. I know our wedding party would have *totally* been up for it!

do ya?

Back in the day, I used to post lots of day-to-day tidbits here on the blog.  Because blog posts are rather time-consuming, now I usually keep things client-based – BUT – I’ve become a shameful Facebook and Twitter afficionado.

Aidan is particularly amused by a) the number of friends I have on FB (let’s not tell him that 1/2 of them are photographers I don’t know, ok?) and b) the fact that I RT @John_Henson from time to time. He’s under the impression that the Wipeout host is one of my friends, but (again), let’s not clarify that tidbit, shall we?

Anyway, if you’d like to follow my mundane daily musings (I tweeted most of our trip to NYC), you can find me here:

I’m under the perhaps misguided impression that technology keeps you young. If so, I plan to be 25 forever!

cole & jack | cumming, georgia children’s photographer

Well, we’re back from our amazing vacation – we did so many things, I think it was our best time ever. But more about that later: I have sneak peeks to catch up on!

Two boys. 6 and 3. Having a boy who has been both of these ages, you can be sure I got a good night’s sleep before our session. But you know what? It wasn’t even necessary. These two boys were the sweetest, lovingest brothers I think I’ve ever met!

Cole is obviously very protective of his little brother, while Jack just wants to do whatever Cole does. SO fun to watch!

When they were sitting on the wall with their legs dangling, I had to catch this shot – dirty feet, mosquito bites, scratches and a couple of bruises. 100% boy, and definitely one of my favorites!

vacation, fall scheduling, two sweet boys & a beautiful baby girl…

** I will be out of the office from Saturday, July 18th through Sunday, July 26th **

Any calls/inquiries will be returned on Monday, July 27th

Phew, where did the summer go!?! I’ve had the pleasure of photographing so many wonderful babies and children these past few months, the time is just flying by! I want to send a huge thank you to all of my amazing clients – who have me come back again and again (I love seeing how my babies grow!) and refer me to others. There truly is nothing more flattering than having you recommend me to your friends. And I thank you!

Because of all of my repeat clients and referrals, my schedule is booking up faster than ever. I am completely full for the month of August – no room to even squeeze in a sweet newborn. I’m currently booking September (1/2 full), October and November. Please note that the cutoff for holiday sessions is the weekend of November 21st.

And while we’re on that subject, starting in September I am only going to schedule two (2) photography sessions per week (6 per month in advance, with 2-4 slots left open for last-minute newborns). Why? Well, when I turned my passion for photography into a business a few years back, my intention was never to be a high volume photographer. Customer service is *so* important to me – I want to get to know each and every client, find out what you’re looking for, and capture exactly that. With too many sessions, customer service slips, and that is completely unacceptable to me. It hasn’t happened yet – but I feel it coming. And I want my clients to have an amazing experience from start to finish!

And, since no post is complete without pictures, here are two from sessions I shot this week but won’t get a chance to blog until our return: Two of the sweetest brothers I’ve ever met (and their wonderful mom!)…and the new baby sister of one of my favorite little clients!

I’ll *see* you in a week or so!
