Apparently all of the sessions I’ve been editing were too much for my computer – it blew this morning, and a new video card and motherboard are on their way.
Fortunately, I have my trusty laptop to work on.

First off, happy birthday to Mckenna, who is celebrating her 5th birthday. Happy birthday, sweetie!
I met these two lovely young ladies last Saturday – and we had so much fun during our session. Meet Mckenna’s equally sweet little sister Addison (who is a big smarties fan, if you didn’t know!):
Are their dresses not the cutest? They were handmade locally – I told mom I was sure to have people ask, so maybe she’ll chime in with some contact information. I want a couple for my Ava for sure! They were PERFECT dresses for our photography session.
This is definitely a favorite of mine. Mom wanted some tall grass, but after driving around the area a few times I couldn’t find *any* – apparently mowing is “in” this season. Harumph! But never fear – I think this grassy field was just as lovely:

I’m usually a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to processing, but I couldn’t resist a little vintage-y look for this one – she’s just so sunny and glowing…

It has been such a treat photographing this family over the past year. We had our first session when Aylin was still in her mom’s belly and Reagan was a sassy & sweet 3 year old. And now – just a few sessions later – Aylin is celebrating her 1st birthday and Reagan is a sassy, protective and sweet as ever 4 year old. I just adore these little girls!
Both girls were full of smiles…even in the blistering heat!
