Let me tell you, this is one beloved little girlie. When I arrived for their session, Mimi let me in. Then mom and dad arrived and Pops showed up with big brothers Ryan and Lukas. I photographed little Emily in the living room, while everyone cuddled quietly and watched. It really was just so sweet – there were lots of “aaahs” and “awwwws.” I love that.

In the middle of this month’s baby boom, it was such a pleasure to photograph these two adorable little guys. Mom wanted ‘natural boy,’ so we just hung out in their yard, talked, laughed and had ourselves a fun time!

Chase is a little guy who clearly adores his big brother, and my singing made him smile – you know I love that! And Grant was so chatty and friendly – he reminded me of my own sweet little fella.

At the end of the session, we headed down to the park for some ‘boys being boys’ shots. And what could be more ‘boy’ than looking for bugs and berries?

Atlanta Maternity Photography

Ok, so I have a little confession to make. I got teary a few times while editing this session. I do love my newborns, but it’s the darn maternity sessions that get me all emotional! Jill and Berry are just so in love, so happy, and so excited about their new arrivals (yes, this gorgeous, tiny little gal is 32 weeks along with TWINS!). Then Jill sent me the nicest e-mail after their session and it just all added up to me shedding a few happy tears!

Some of the best moments during this session happened without any direction – like when the babies started kicking and Jill placed Barry’s hand on her belly to feel them…

Or when they were walking down the street and Berry suddenly spun Jill in a little twirl (followed by a dip!):

Walker was one of the most content little peanuts I’ve ever photographed. Whatever we wanted to do, he went along with it – as long as he was warm and comfy, it was all good. He even gave us a few sweet smiles!
