Play Ball!

It’s that time of year – Fall Ball. Aidan is playing in the 9-10 year old league this year, which is ‘kid pitch.’ Meaning? The games are 1 hour and 45 minutes and they rarely get past 3 innings. Like watching paint dry. Sorry, sweets.
I shot these through the fence…gotta love that Canon focus!

Aylin at 3 Months: A Sneak Peek

This was my 3rd session with this fabulous family, and the first thing we all thought was “We can go out front!!” For our previous two sessions the sun was shining full-force on the front yard and steps, so we moved around the house to the nice open shade. So being able to use the...

Look!!

Mommy bought yet another a new basket yesterday!
She couldn’t resist, though – look at how perfectly I fit in here. I have to say it’s MUCH better than that highchair.

I like it so much, here’s a little ‘cheese.’ Mom’s not a big fan of the cheese.

Happy Tuesday!

Building a Gallery Wall

Do you remember my recent post with the gorgeous wall gallery from Martha Stewart Living?
So I have this little landing at the top of my stairs. Before yesterday, it featured a lonely portrait of Aidan. But now it looks like this:

That’s an 11×14 portrait, an 11×14 collage, a 10×20 and an empty (for now) 8×8...

Taylor at 5 Weeks: A Sneak Peek

As a 5 week old, little Taylor came to me as an “older” newborn (I know it’s strange to call 5 weeks “old!”). As we all know, once our little babies are over two weeks, they sometimes <ahem> have a mind of their own and decide to act more like 3 month olds – meaning...

Canon Madness
Many of the photographers I know (including myself) shoot with a Canon 5D (I switched over from Nikon about a year ago). And – while I love mine as much today as I did the first day I bought it – an upgrade is imminent. Rumors have been crazy for months now about a...

The Boy Scout

Aidan: “Why do you want to take a picture?”
Me: “Because Nana and Oma and Opa will love seeing you in your uniform.”
Aidan: “You’re going to post it on your blog, aren’t you?”
Me: “Why, yes I am.”
Aidan: “Are you going to say that I look like a goofy goober?”
Me: “No, of course not.”
