I came home from my newborn session today to find this:

Vic said he went in after her nap to find her clothes off, this (way too small) tutu outfit on, and she was sitting in bed reading books. Add the feather mules, and she’s just a dancing little princess, no? Then she insisted on wearing it to Kroger with me - THAT was fun.
I had the best weekend - I got to photograph not one, but TWO sweet newborns. Little 6 week old Dylan, with the most adorable chunky rolls (got me thinking about the little chunk I had…oh, 9 years ago…) and today I had adorable 1 week old Gabrielle, who slept so soundly and even gave me a smile or two. Those sneak peeks should be up sometime this week. I can’t wait to share them!
And on Friday night I had two local photographer friends over to watch a lighting video…that we never got to! One thing is for sure: When you get photographers together…and they can talk “shop” with someone other than their family (who tend to get glassy eyed when you start talking about aperture and posing and props and software - why, I have NO clue!), well the hours just tend to while away… It was a great night!

how absolutely sweet. K did a tumbling tutus class at that age and loved it. I highly recommend it.
Is that the sweetest or what? I hope God has one of those in store for me one day! BTW, hoping to get you pictures of the wall and measurements for the new house very soon. Then we can start working on adding to it. The ‘Martha’ post got me excited!!!
Lisa- I get plenty of sweet comments from strangers when we go out in public dressed all fancy- I tend to think it’s just a short season, why not let them have fun in their pink sparkly tutus?
By the way, she’s adorable on her tippy toes there!!
Lisa, I just cannot stand it, she is too cute. So many photos of Ava remind me of my Vinny when she was that age. The above photo truly did so I quickly posted the photo on my blog. You will crack up when you see my photo. I gave you a little plug as well, I hope you don’t mind.
Have a groovy week!

So cute!
She reminds me of my own little three year old (who starts dance class next week) and just HAD to wear her Aurora outfit to the football game on Friday night. LOL I’m really going to miss this stage some day.
She is just too cute and the shoes make the outfit! I would take her anywhere dressed like that. She will only be this age such a short time. They grow up way too fast!
the little lady has a style all her own
