Phew!

We’re headed out for our annual visit to see the family in New York soon, so I’ve been working like mad to get my most recent sessions edited and live before we leave. And I just finished! I didn’t want my clients to have to wait - and now they don’t!

I will be out of the office until August 6th but if you need to reach me, you can call or e-mail - I will have some limited internet access (my parents still have dial-up - seriously). I am fully booked for August and most of September, but if you need a session asap I’m happy to add you to a waiting list in case of a cancellation or reschedule.

For our trip, the kids are pretty excited about going to the lake, camping, and riding nana and poppy’s horses. Vic is playing rugby in Saranac, and I’ll just be doing my best to avoid all of the yummy summer food I can’t have. Boo! Oh, I’m down 21 pounds, by the way - since a few of you have asked! Two sizes down…maybe one more to go. I’m pretty happy right now.

I promise to share more when we return, but here are mini-peeks from my most recent sessions.

Sweet Jack…who I got to photograph for the 3rd time:

Adorable Riya. This was our 2nd session together…

And smiley miss Hannah (with a little vintage treatment), who I met for the first time.

Catch you all in a couple of weeks!

Soon to adorn my wall…

Have I mentioned how much I love to shoot architecture? Especially old, beaten, weathered architecture. Finding art - and capturing it with my camera - is what made me fall in love with photography in the first place.

This is another from my New York City series - I finally got around to editing it to my liking. I’m having it printed as a bordered 16×16 for my dining room.

Nina at 6 Days: A Sneak Peek

Sweet little Nina was one of the most petite little newborns I’ve had the pleasure of shooting. And she also had the fullest head of hair!

Isn’t she beautiful?

Here she is with her wonderful daddy…

And her beautiful mama…

Seema and Rohit, thank you for sharing your beautiful baby girl with me! I’ll be in touch very soon with the rest of your session.

Harrison at 9 Months & Landon at 3: A Sneak Peek

This was my 3rd time with this lovely family, and Harrison was the subject of one of my all-time favorite newborn images. Look how he’s grown!

You might remember big brother Landon’s adorable blond curls…

A little brotherly love…

And mom and dad…

A lot of my little babies this age love to study the camera and smiles are hard to come by. But Harrison? Mr. Smiley for sure!

And let’s see…chunky adorable baby bottom meets my antique scale. I cropped this as a 10×20 vertical image - I just love the tall and narrow look of it. With a little antique magic, naturally!

Sharon and Michael, thank you AGAIN for another wonderful session! I’ll be in touch very soon with the rest of your images!
