Too funny not to share.

Aidan gets on the computer tonight, and the Comcast home page is plastered with a picture of Jamie-Lynn Spears.

Aidan: “Jamie-Lynn Spears and Britney Spears are SISTERS?!?!!!!!!!”

Me: “Yup, they sure are.”

Aidan: “Wait, this says - this can’t be right. Jamie-Lynn Spears had a BABY!?!?!!!!!!”

Me: “Yup, she sure did.”

Aidan: “Well, was it an ACCIDENT, I hope?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!”

The C Family: A Sneak Peek

THIS session was at 9:00 a.m., which is perfect a) for lighting and b) for heat - as in, it’s not quite so!

Meet Mr. Brody. Abso-stinking-lutely adorable:

The first thing he did was show me his shoes (very cool brown leather sandals like his big brother’s). The thing about Brody is that he’s at that age where me - and my camera - are something to be studied. Learned about. Focused on. It’s SO typical of this age!

Unfortunately, it means spontaneous smiles are a bit harder to come by. I made every little boy noise I know (don’t ask!), danced (badly), sang (badly), and even got mom, dad and big brother in on the act. I’m sure the neighbors were quite amused by the show we put on! If vaudeville comes a’calling, we’ll know why. ;)

Big brother Mason, on the other hand. Well, you’d think he was an old pro at this photography stuff.

He not only had a perfect smile, he had several variations. What a doll.

I did get some family shots, naturally, but love this one.

With little boys, once the tongues come out, there ain’t no going back!

And I have to admit: Editing these, and looking at mom’s amazing legs? Yeah, more encouragement to get to the gym daily!!

OH - and this is a good place to mention this, since I’m often asked by my clients what they should wear for their family sessions. I LOVE what this family is wearing. As you can see, they do NOT match - but everything goes together. Casual, but cohesive. Like making one outfit out of several pieces - khaki, light blue, dark blue, yellow - it meshes so nicely and photographed like a dream!

A FAVORITE!

And another favorite!

And lastly, I have so (so!) many great candids of dad playing with the boys. You all know how much I love these shots.

Hey, is that a SMILE I see??

Paula and Jeff: Thank you so much for sharing your sweet family with me!

The ‘G’ Family!

So this isn’t a sneak peek - we had this session shortly before the Russos left for vacation, so Kristie and Chuck received their gallery before their sneak. But I still want to share!

We met at a favorite local spot of mine - at 4:00 - it was MISERABLY hot (I’m now scheduling my summer sessions EARLY or LATE). But we got through it quickly and returned to the lovely relief of the a/c in the cars!

Mr. M & Miss M. took a little while to warm up to me - but eventually my charm won them over. That or they decided they’d better “laugh for this annoying lady or she’ll never leave us alone!” HA!

How sweet is this face??

And you know how I love the wagon!

The whole wonderful family!

Little Miss M looks SO MUCH like her momma, doesn’t she?

Kristie & Chuck, thank you for such a great session, heat and all!!

Garage Sale Weekend!

I know, I’m behind on sneaks. Why is it so hard to get back into the groove after vacation, eh? I have a sweet newborn session today, and I PROMISE more images after that!

But in the meantime: Our neighborhood is having a garage sale this weekend. And Vic was so excited to get rid of 3/4 of our household contents stuff that he even coordinated it (signs, advertising, etc.).

Right now our garage is almost full of stuff that’s going. If you need baby equipment (strollers, jumperoo, ride-ons, swing, etc.) or baby girl clothes - be sure to stop by.

Also - will there be scrapbooking supplies? “Yes” seems like an understatement. Paper, embellishments, stamps, rub-ons, stickers, transparencies - you name it, it’s out there. Autumn Leaves books? Yep, those too.

If you want to come, but don’t know where we live - drop me a line. :) Friday and Saturday - 8-3.
