I know, I know! We have company and I’m a little delayed in my posting. I was reprimanded last week <cough! cough! Donna!> for not posting frequently enough. So what better way to make it up than with pictures of a sweet baby??

I had so much fun with R &J’s maternity shoot, I couldn’t wait to go back and meet sweet little ‘J.’

So it turns out Miss ‘J’ doesn’t like being naked. And unhappy means no sleepy. But did that stop us? Nope! A little patience, a little love from mommy and daddy (and my very handy heating pad) and we were all set! Here’s a little sneak peek…

“Hmmm…who is this strange lady looking over mommy’s shoulder? I’m going to make adorable faces at her and make her want another baby. Yup, that’s what I’m going to do!”

Look at the hands! (All the moms are going “Awwww…..”).

Adorable? Oh yeah. She looks so delicate and girly, doesn’t she?

A favorite!! J is a big guy who clearly adores his wife and little girl. I just love their hands all holding her in - how content she looks. Definitely a favorite of mine.

Another favorite!! We really wanted to get images of little J on her daddy’s arm, but missy didn’t want to sleep. But towards the end of the session we put her in her PJs and she went “Ahhhh…now I can sleep.” Ironically, much the same way as I feel when I put on my PJs. But I digress…

Sweetness. Just pure sweetness.

We took a shot similar to this during their maternity session and I wanted to recreate it with babe-in-arms. Got it!

(And yes, on behalf of the rest of us, I did tell R she was a
complete stinker for being so thin and beautiful and glowy this soon after having
a baby!)
