I just came in from snowblowing and shoveling last night’s 8″ or so of lake effect snow.
More is due tomorrow. Along with a high of 17 degrees.
This June, we leave Erie for a place where this doesn’t happen. Yes, they get snow, but they get snow, not SNOW. Big difference.
In June, Erie is a gorgeous, sunny 70 degrees. Our destination is hotter than Hades.
Ava will be sobbing in the backseat. Aidan will pout and tell us how horrible we are to take him away from his friends.
Amidst the chaos, I will pull up these pictures on my phone and remind myself of the weather here 6 months (or more) out of the year.
And it will quench my guilt for just a bit.
