Monthly Archives: July 2011 When we visited family in upstate New York this past Spring, my Mom and I wandered around an overgrown, abandoned farm. What I found there was a photographer’s PARADISE. Hundreds of things that have just been lying around, exposed to the elements and overgrown with vines and moss. The colors and textures were DIVINE. Now…  I’ve always loved railroad tracks. They’re just so rustic with the iron, stones & wood. Yummy. Not enough to put a child on them for a shot, but lie across them myself to get some cool images? Absolutely! I created these two pieces one evening (after waiting 2 hours for the perfect sunset light!) for…  As part of my minimalist journey, I’m not only purging, I’m trying (trying!) to recycle things I already have (as opposed to buying new – what a concept!).
