I saw this on my friend Cathy’s blog and figured it’d be fun. My friend Paige and I were chatting about how all the fun personal stuff goes on Facebook now, and not here on ye old blog.
Outside my window… It’s as hot as hades at 8:00 at night.
I am thinking… about whether I did the right thing ordering an iPhone tonight. I’m known to be a bit impulsive.
I am thankful for… my Kindle (yeah, I know…but husband and kids are a given, right?)
From the kitchen… chicken teriyaki sandwiches with sweet potato fries.
I am wearing… spa pants from Lucy and a white T from Lands’ End (session attire).
I am creating… a client’s gallery.
I am going… to see if there’s a Body Pump class tomorrow a.m. since I can’t go on Thursday.
I am reading… Relentless by Dean Koontz.
I am hoping… that my mom likes the Kindle that we got her for her Birthday.
I am hearing… the sound of Vic and his dad in the basement trying to fix his small compressor.
Around the house… are my visiting in-laws.
One of my favorite things… ummmm…..Kindle?
A few plans for the rest of the week… gym, 4 more sessions to shoot, 3 sessions to edit, one dinner out, and one desperately-needed haircut.

tracy - You will NOT regret that iphone purchase. I have had mine for 5 days and love it more with each one that goes by!!
Jen - I commented on facebook too… but anyway… I’m SO glad you got your iphone. I think it’s RIDICULOUS that you have to spend 150 (or the 30/month) to get OUT of a contract when your current phone doesn’t work for you already. STUPID!! Anyway, I use my cell for emergencies only, and only have a pay as you go plan. My husband bought me the ipod touch when our 6 week old was in the hospital with pneumonia and we were stuck there for days with nothing to do but watch her sleep on the monitors. (She is totally fine now) Anyway, I LOVE it. I love that my email can be retrieved from anywhere, I love that I can text with it and IM with it. I love the silly games- tap tap revenge, gamebox gems, and doodle jump are faves. Shazam is great for identifying songs on the radio. Love the weather channel app. Facebook is great on there. Weightbot is amazing for keeping me on track with my diet. The moron test is hilarious and is a fun way to challenge a friend. Man… I could write a novel. But then I’d have to publish it on the kindle. HA!!!
Anyway, good luck and I can’t wait to hear how it goes!
Mom - Yea, I just know I will love the Kindle for my birthday. Thank you so much. Now that I’m old, I have nothing better to do but sit and read. But, the good thing is nobody will know that I’m just sitting and reading…..Right? I can’t wait until lunch time to play with it!
