I love newborns. I love walking in to see that sweet, tiny new bundle in mom’s arms. I love pulling back baby’s soft blanket to take a peek. I love chubby cheeks, little toes, and their umbilical cord stump. I love the contented sigh newborns make when they get comfortable and the way they suck on their hands when they’re hungry. The way they open their eyes and stare at a bright window like it’s the most fascinating thing in the universe.
And most of all I love photographing newborns. Meet sweet little Madison Alana:

Hello beautiful mama…

I’m often asked (by grandmothers, actually!) if I have the best job in the world. And I always say “Oh yes, I do.” Jennifer and Brent, thank you so much for sharing your adorable little baby with me. It was a pleasure to photograph her.
