Stuff.

Dare I put it in writing? Ava is potty trained. Mostly.;)She’s trained enough that she’s wearing underwear when she’s awake. She still has an occasional accident (usually because we don’t respond to her “Have to go potty, Mommy!” pleas fast enough. We’re down to diapers only at bedtime…and the thought of no more diapers (ever again) fills me with indescribable glee.:)

WW is going great. The points program is custom designed for anal freaks people like me. Turning food into numbers? Genius. I’m down about 12 pounds and had to go shopping for some new pants today – I’m down a size. Woo!

This little baby was just delivered:

It is the TINIEST thing. The size of a deck of cards – I love it! I just want to be the NORMAL mom taking pictures of my kids. And I just don’t lug out the big equipment…this will be so great on vacation. It’s adorable! Battery is charging – I’ll take some test pics later!

Sneak peek of some GORGEOUS ladies coming up in a few…

Lisa - test…(testing comments, carry on!)

berta - Looks so tiny & cute! You will get amazing pictures out of it I’m sure, just look at what you get with the big cameras! All the best equipment can’t replace a good photographers eye, and you already have that!

Jill - Love those powershots. I keep mine right in my purse so I have it all the time for great on the road toddler times.

jenn - Congrats on the potty-training!

I’m curious what you think of the PowerShot. I have Canon 40D and I’m looking for a small point and shoot to carry with me. I tried a Sony for a few days and I didn’t like it so I’m back to the drawing board. I’d love it if you’d post a review (or maybe email me your thoughts on the camera)!

traci - i just got that camera for my daughter for her 18th birthday – she loves it!!!

s.patel - yeah, ava!!

i’m curious to hear how you like that camera. i’m looking for a new point and shoot to take to africa with me this summer

Jeanette - I have toyed with the idea of purchasing a small point & shoot but have backed off for fear that I will become lazy and stop using my 20D. Some have convinced me that I should get a small point & shoot because I probably miss a number of photo ops because I don’t have my SLR with me. Never thought about it that way.

So I began looking at the Canon Elphs. Then I come here and see this post. I am convinced now. You, photographer extraordinaire, have chosen this camera….well I can’t think of a better recommendation than from you!

becky - Congratulations on the potty training. What’s the shutter lag on that little canon like?

Sharon - the potty training ( us too :-) , the new little camera, and 12 LBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TWELVE POUNDS I am sooooo proud of you. I think everyone except me missed how FANTASTIC you are doing woohoooo!!! WAY TO GO
