Besides being super-fantastically nice and amazing, the #1 thing to know about Ann and Scott is they love their dogs. Before we even had the session, Ann wrote to ask if it would be ok to include them in the shoot.
Ummm…it’s MORE than ok! I love it!

(And…ahem…HELLO cheekbones! Is Ann gorgeous or what?)
One thing to note is that Scott and his doggies have been together for 14 years. That’s as long as I’ve been married. So they have a very meaningful relationship…

This also made for a few poignant moments…because while Ann and Scott are starting their new family, the current one is getting a little older. And I can’t say any more because this next shot requires me to grab kleenex. Sniff. I love dogs…

Moving on!
Beautiful…

And sweet…

And HOT!

What? No love for Porky?! Seriously – this cute little Porky pig was Scott’s when he was a child, and it was given to them as a shower gift. How sweet is that?!?
When we were done with all the stuff at home, Ann asked if we could take a walk down their lovely street to a little bridge for some shots. I had to think about that for…oh…2 seconds!
How about we sit down in the middle of it? Ann was such a trooper – I know this was uncomfortable for her (those waistbands can hurt!) but it was worth it, no?

And one of the shots by the bridge. I think this was AFTER the chipmunk dove out of the vines next to Ann, making all of us jump about 3 feet.![]()

Ann and Scott…what can I say? Beautiful day, beautiful people, adorable doggies, porky the pig and a crazy chipmunk. It just does NOT get any better than that. Thank you so much for sharing this important time in your lives with me, and I’ll be in touch soon with the rest of your session!
