This was such a fun session – a lovely mom and dad, a sweet little girl, and an adorable new baby!
We started outside – I have some where everyone is looking at me, but this shot just makes me happy inside. You can just feel how much this family loves each other…
Next, ‘H’ watched some Little Mermaid while I spent time with baby brother ‘J’ who was happily sleeping (but not for long!):
I love the little hand. He was already doing the “archer’s pose” which is a sign of a content and happy baby!
We did some daddy/baby shots after that, and then ‘J’ woke up hungry. I love his expression here:
While he had a snack, I went outside with beautiful big sister ‘H’ who – I understand – LOVES princess dresses!
And just WHO is making her giggle?
DADDY, naturally! I love love love that shot. It’s so happy!
We went inside after this, and I was able to get little ‘J’ to sleep for just a brief time – he had a bit of a tummy ache, poor little button. But I’m fast!
When we were just about done, sweet baby decided he’d had enough – and he’s the boss! Mommy soothed him for awhile, which gave me the chance for some lovely mommy/baby shots:
Have you ever noticed that it doesn’t matter how sleep-deprived and tired new moms are…they still glow?
After the handoff to dad, we went back outside for some mommy/daughter images.
