So some of you have asked me what Walton’s been up to this season…
Well, he’s written Aidan 3 letters so far. The stinker starts up my laptop, goes into Word, finds some cute font (like Giddyup) and changes the text to red, then writes Aidan a letter. He always ends up falling asleep on the keyboard. Hmmm…sounds like me.
His first two letters were positive, but last night he had to admonish Aidan for arguing a bit too much with his mom lately. He told Aidan he’d have to tell Santa to move him to the naughty list if he didn’t change his behavior. Hmmmm……
Besides that, we’ve found him:
Sitting on the floor with all our Christmas children’s books scattered about, all open to a page with a picture of Santa (he must miss the jolly red guy).
Sitting in a chair with Aidan’s Nintendo DS in his lap, playing it.
He wrapped himself with toilet paper and slept in Ava’s potty one night (good thing or bad thing she’s never used it).
Buried under the bowl of Rudolph stuffed toys.
Under a pile of chocolates that he pulled out of the Advent house calendar.
Sleeping in Ava’s toy doll stroller.
….
But – by far – Aidan loves it best when Walton leaves him notes.
