For those of you who don’t know, Vic prides himself on getting me fantabulously creative gifts each Christmas. He won’t get me anything I ask for or hint about – and then he crafts these really annoying fun puzzles and treasure hunts that I have to go on to find that year’s gift.
Anyway, since he won’t take hints, there’s no harm in mentioning what I’m wishing for this year, eh? And hey – maybe it’ll give someone else some ideas!
The most interesting thing is that – for the first time in probably 10 years – there’s no CAMERA EQUIPMENT on my list. It’s so nice to say that I love my kit. No need for anything else (for now, anyway…).

I’m also hankering for a Coach tote. Vic got me a GREAT little bag earlier this year when he was traveling a lot, but I find that I’m carrying more and more business-related stuff with me and I need more room for everyday.

The Wacom Intuos 6×11 tablet. I currently use (and love) a Wacom Graphire 6×8, but with my widescreen monitor (Merry Christmas to me!), I need a widescreen tablet, naturally.
Lexar Pro stackable CompactFlash readers – two would be nice.
An iTunes Gift Card. The kids and I listen to music almost every afternoon, so I’m always looking for new things to download.
Snowglobes. I collect them and have only added one this year – another would be sweet.
And that’s about it for my wish list. I really need a new couch for the keeping room…and new rugs (since my decorator friends tell me mine are too small – who knew?!). But those aren’t exactly Christmas gifts. Nor are they necessities (well, I guess Christmas isn’t about necessities, is it?).
I just love watching the kids open their goodies from Santa. And Ava’s old enough this year to *just* start to get it, I think. So excited.
