Hmmm….what are these interesting things on the steps?
I love fall. Love it. I love it even more when it lasts more than 2 days before turning back to summer.
Sigh.
Our latest afternoon activity (now that it actually IS nice enough to go outside in the afternoon) is playing in the front yard. Well – I should clarify. I sit in a chair and read while Aidan rides his scooter up and down the driveway and Ava does…well, whatever she does. Runs around, pushes the stroller, pushes the mower, draws with chalk, and asks "Mommy? Pop-a-KAH!"
Oh yes. Pop-a-KAH!
Ava has discovered the delight that is the freeze pop. And – interestingly enough – she gets less of it on herself than her brother does. Hmmm…
This is her method of choice. Holding it way up in the air, sucking like crazy until it all melts. You’ll notice the dainty handling method, of course. They’re cold, don’t you know.
I taught her how to push them up. But nope, she’d rather hold it in the air. She can even do it while walking. Dainty holding method still present. Talented girl.
I have to jump in – aren’t those little cargo capris SO cute? H&M. $7, I think. Which I believe I’ve mentioned before. Cannot wait for them to open here.
And little princess shoes. Just because.
I have dates with not one, but TWO wee little babies this weekend. A boy and a girl. Sigh…can’t wait.
