I was going to buy one of those cute (but very expensive) fancy costumes…then decided she’d only wear it for an hour and be very, very happy in her little tutu.
So i just added a turtleneck, tights and a princess bucket, and she was all set…
I thought we’d only make it to a few houses, but little missy ended up walking 1/2 the neighborhood. She hung on to her bucket the whole way – I offered to hold it a few times, but OH NO! She was having NONE of that (a girl after my own heart…).
When we got home, she immediately plopped down to examine her loot (again…the apple doesn’t fall far…). She decided on a lollipop (I’d have gone for a 100,000 bar myself…), and proceeded to enjoy it – both ends, apparently.
Disclaimer: There are no pictures of Aidan (who was a Viking Zombie – I’ll betcha you’re really sorry you missed out on seeing that, eh?). He caught sight of his friends headed out and took off faster than you can say "Trick or Treat!"
