Aidan had his first game of the season today. His team is the Diamond Jaxx – for Fall ball, the teams are named after the camp teams.
This is probably his last season in the non-competitive league (although they keep score, so I’m not really sure what’s non-competitive about it??). His team won 18-11.
And guess who got the game ball – for hitting a line drive that was so fast and hard that the coach had to dive out of the way?
He was pretty happy about getting the 1st game ball of the season.
Tonight, he and Vic are here: Dinosaurs Live. I surprised them with tickets today. I don’t know who it made happier – them because they got to go, or me because I gave it to them. Let’s call it a draw, shall we?
